Jens Nordsø Artbook 

This website is in Danish, as as is the artbook with Jens Nordsøs oilpaintings.

The book shows a selection of the best paintings from Jens Nordsøs production of naturalistic paintings, still life, nature and portraits. Before his death in 2006 he approved the book, which is made together with graphic designer Kenn Clarke.

Jens Nordsø (1930-2006) was educated 1948–52 at the Copenhagen Artschool (Kunsthåndværkerskolen) as graphics designer and drawings for advertising. Debut 1955 and over 40 exhibitions including 15 separate exhibitions.
He is influenced by both the Renaissance and Surrealism and in his paintings expressed a humanistic engagement with simple and effective means. Most of his over 500 oil paintings done after he left the graphics department at DR TV.
